Spongiochrysis is a genus of green algae in the family Cladophorales.[1] It contains a single species, Spongiochrysis hawaiiensis.

Spongiochrysis hawaiiensis is a terrestrial alga that forms golden-yellow crusts on Casuarina bark.[2]
