Hermenegildo Igarzabal Sánchez, known by his stage name as Sergio Mendizábal (3 July 1920 – 2005),[1] was a Spanish film and television actor.[2] He appeared in over 100 films and television programs, including the films For a Few Dollars More[3] and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.[4]

He was born in San Sebastián on 3 July 1920. He got a degree in Instituto de Investigaciones y Experiencias Cinematográficas. He made his role debut in Mr. Arkadin, by Orson Welles. Other roles includes El buen amor by Paco Regueiro, or Viridiana (1961) and Tristana (1969) by Luis Buñuel.[5]
