Santaneshwor Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Jharuwarasi, Lalitpur district, Nepal, atop a hill at an elevation of 1400 meters. It offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and is a popular destination for both pilgrims and nature lovers. There is a large horde of devotees in the month of January and February to worship Lord Shiva.
For generations, the Santaneshwor Mahadev Temple has been revered as a place of miracles for childless couples. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that the deity Lord Shiva blesses devotees with the gift of children, even in the face of adversity.
