2020 census
As of the 2020 census, Sansom Park had a population of 5,454 and 1,000 families. The median age was 33.8 years. 28.3% of residents were under the age of 18 and 12.2% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 98.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 92.7 males age 18 and over.[5]
100.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 0.0% lived in rural areas.[6]
There were 1,752 households in Sansom Park, of which 42.6% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 42.1% were married-couple households, 19.5% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 30.6% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. Education
Most of Sansom Park is served by the Castleberry Independent School District. A small portion of the city is served by the Lake Worth Independent School District.
