San Miguel das Negradas (officially San Miguel de Negradas)[1] is a civil parish in the municipality of O Vicedo in Galicia, northwestern Spain. It lies on the northwestern coast of the Province of Lugo, in the La Mariña Occidental comarca, on the border with Mañón in the Province of A Coruña. The parish includes the island of San Martiño.

As of 2022 the population was 151, down from 242 in 2005.

Settlements

The parish is divided into 21 populated entities and three uninhabited places (Alpuxarras, Francos, and Redonda).[2] The principal hamlets (lugares) include:

  • San Roque (formerly Santa Mariña), with a chapel dedicated to Saint Roch
  • O Mosteiro, named for a monastery that existed there in the Middle Ages
  • O Outro Lado
  • O Xurbal
