Samikchya Baskota (Nepali: समीक्षा बास्कोटा; born 24 February 1984) is a Nepalese politician serving as a member of parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party.[5][6] She was elected as a member of the 7th Pratinidhi Sabha through the Proportional Representation system from the Khas Arya women cluster in the 2026 General Election.[1][7][8] Baskota serves as a party chairperson of the Law, Justice and Human Rights parliamentary committee for Rastriya Swatantra Party under the House of Representatives since April 2026.[9][10]

Baskota also holds a Central committee membership of Rastriya Swatantra Party.[11][12] She was a former chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party which was later merged to Rastriya Swatantra Party ahead of the 2026 election.[13][2][14]She contested and was defeated in a 2022 Kathmandu municipal election.[15] She holds LLB from Kathmandu School of Law under Kathmandu University.[16]
