Sam Hecht (born April 3, 2003)[1] is an American football center. He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats.
Career
Hecht attended Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas.[1]
Hecht joined Kansas State University as a walk-on in 2021. After redshirting his first year in 2021, he played in 42 games with 25 starts at center from 2022 to 2025.[2] As a senior in 2025, he was named first team All-Big 12.[3] He did not allow a sack during his college career.[4]
Hecht was selected to play in the 2026 Senior Bowl and was invited to the 2026 NFL Combine.[5][6]
