Sıla Nur Gençer (born 8 May 2003) is a Turkish taekwondo athlete who competes internationally in the women's middleweight divisions.[1]
Career
Gençer achieved her first international result in 2020, winning the bronze medal in the −68 kg youth division at the Turkish Open in Istanbul.[2] She also earned a silver medal at the Turkish University League (Ünilig) Taekwondo Championships.[3]
In 2023, she won the bronze medal in the women's −73 kg category at the 2023 European U21 Taekwondo Championships held in Bucharest, Romania.[4]
At the 2024 Multi European Games in Ankara, Gençer won another bronze medal in the −73 kg senior division.[5]
Gençer represented Türkiye at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she won the bronze medal in the women's 70 kg event after defeating Saudi athlete Dunya Saber 2–0 in the bronze-medal match.[6]
