Roman Domon (born October 6, 2005) is a French basketball player who plays for the Murray State Racers in NCAA Division I. He previously played professionally in France with BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque.

Early life

Domon was born in Amiens, France. He began playing basketball with Amiens Sporting Club Basket-Ball before joining the French youth development system. He later played at the U15 Elite level with Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball and joined the youth academy of BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in 2019.

Professional career

BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque (2023–2025)

Domon signed his first professional contract with BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in 2023. He made his debut in the French top division, Betclic Élite, during the 2023–24 season.

In the 2024–25 season, he became part of the regular rotation. On April 22, 2025, he scored 19 points in a triple-overtime win against CSP Limoges.[1]

He recorded his Betclic Élite career high on May 17, 2025, scoring 23 points against SIG Strasbourg on the final day of the regular season.[2]

International career

Roman Domon represented France at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship.

In 2024, he won the FIBA U20 European Championship with France, averaging 11.3 points per game.

He was selected again in 2025 and helped France win the bronze medal at the U20 European Championship, earning a place on the tournament’s All-Star Five.[3]

College career

Murray State

Domon joined Murray State University for the 2025–26 season.

As a freshman, he averaged 12.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game over his first 13 appearances. He scored a season-high 20 points in a road win at Valparaiso and was named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week twice in December 2025.[4]
