The Regimental Debts Act 1893[a] (56 & 57 Vict. c. 5), also known as the Debts (Deceased Servicemen etc.) Act 1893,[e] is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to regimental debts.[1]

Repealed enactments

Section 32 of the act repealed the Regimental Debts Act, 1863 (26 & 27 Vict. c. 57) and section 1 of the Regulation of the Forces Act 1881 (44 & 45 Vict. c. 57).[2]

Subsequent developments

The act was renamed to the Debts (Deceased Servicemen etc.) Act 1893 by section 378(1) of, and schedule 16 to, the Armed Forces Act 2006 (c. 52).
