Raveen Kanishka

Raveen Kanishka (born 15 August 1991)[1] is a Sri Lankan singer, television actor and presenter.[2] He entered the entertainment industry in 2012 by being selected as a finalist in the Derana Dream Star (Season 4) competition. He was part of many shows and plays.[3][4]

Acting career

Kanishka made his debut with Ksheera Sagaraya Kalabina movie in 2023 playing the role of Hirimala. The film was directed by Professor Sunil Ariyaratne.[5]

He gained popularity as 'Anuhas' in the teledrama Deweni Inima. In March 2023, as part of TV Derana’s Deweni Inima teledrama, he won the People’s Teledrama Actor of the Year Award.[6][7] In December 2012, he entered the finals of Derana Dream Star, Season 4.[8]
