Ratnapriya Gurusinghe is a Sri Lankan lawyer who serves as a judge of the Court of Appeal of Sri Lanka. He was appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and has served since 1 December 2020.[1][2][3]

Career

Gurusinghe previously served as a judge in Sri Lanka's High Court before his appointment to the Court of Appeal.[4][5]

In July 2025, the then Chief Justice, Murdu Fernando, recommended Gurusinghe for appointment as a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. The recommendation was forwarded to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is expected to submit it to the Constitutional Council for approval.[6][7]
