Rafael Guillermo Uzcátegui Golding (born 4 October 2004) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Philadelphia Union II of MLS Next Pro.

Club career

Uzcátegui grew up in the Mineros youth academy and made his first-team debut on 14 October 2021 in a 3–0 Liga FUTVE win against Lala.[2] In the second half of the following season, he earned a place in the starting line-up and on 10 September 2022, he scored his first goal in a 3–2 away win against Deportivo Lara.

In January 2024, he was signed on a permanent basis by Boyacá Chicó.[3]

In March 2025, he was signed by the Philadelphia Union II.[4]

International career

In January 2023, he was called up to the Venezuela U20 team to compete in the 2023 South American U-20 Championship in that category; he subsequently also played for the Venezuela U23 team.
