Pop Myx was a music television program broadcast on Myx, a pay television channel in the Philippines. The show premiered on February 14, 2002[1] and aired international pop music videos presented by Myx video jockeys (VJs).[2] The program concluded on December 5, 2021.

Overview

Pop Myx aired daily on Myx in the Philippines, featuring international pop music videos presented by the channel's VJs.[2][4] The program was broadcast in two formats: a 30-minute version and a 1-hour timeslot, allowing viewers to enjoy the show throughout the day.[3][5]

Editions

Pop Myx: K-Pop Edition

Pop Myx: K-Pop Edition was a program edition of the Philippine music channel program Pop Myx broadcast on Myx. Premiered in June 2010, it features Korean pop music videos. Pop Myx: K-Pop Edition was later merged into the main Pop Myx program sometime in late 2014 or early 2015.

On May 1, 2015, Pop Myx: K-Pop Edition returned as an online-exclusive series on Myxph.com, airing new episodes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.[6][7] The edition also featured an online-exclusive segment, K12: The Myxph.com K-Pop Countdown, which began in April 2016, highlighting top K-Pop videos as ranked by Myx website and its YouTube channel.[8] In July 2015, Pop Myx: K-Pop Edition aired a special episode featuring the Korean boy group BigBang, showcasing videos from their Made Project in anticipation of their 2015 Made World Tour concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. This episode was part of the online-exclusive return of the K-Pop Edition on Myxph.com.[9]
