Periyannan Arasu is an Indian politician and a former member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly (MLA).

Arasu hails from Pudukkottai town in Pudukkottai District.

Education

Periyannan Arasu completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at Poondi Pushpam College in Thanjavur.[1]

Political career

Periyannan Arasu belongs to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He contested and won the election for the Pudukkottai Assembly constituency in the 2016 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, subsequently becoming its Member of Legislative Assembly.[2]
