PeopleForce is a technology company that develops a cloud-based human resources management system.[1][2][3]

History

PeopleForce was founded in 2019 in Kyiv, Ukraine, by Andrew Cetinic. The company initially operated as an outsourcing business before shifting focus to develop proprietary HR software.[4] Between 2019 and 2020, the company developed its modular HR platform architecture.[5] In September 2021, PeopleForce secured seed funding of $640,000 from London-based Sturgeon Capital and Concept Ventures.[6] In May 2022, Polish venture capital fund Pracuj Ventures invested of $1 million in PeopleForce.[7] The same year, PeopleForce received support in $50,000 from the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund.[8][9]

In August 2022, the company appointed Mykola Mykhaylov, former CEO of robota.ua and former Investment Director at Pracuj Ventures, as VP of Growth. Mykhaylov later became Co-CEO and Chief Growth Officer.[10][11] PeopleForce was selected among the top 100 startups at Web Summit 2022. In 2023, the company was chosen as one of ten Ukrainian startups to participate in TechCrunch Disrupt 2023.[12]

In February 2024, PeopleForce raised $2 million in a follow-on seed round led by Pracuj Ventures.[13] In November, in partnership with KOLO Foundation, a charitable organization within Ukraine's IT community, PeopleForce implemented a feature allowing employees to convert unused paid time off into monetary donations supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces.[14] In April 2025, the company completed a Pre-Series A funding round of $5.38 million, co-led by Pracuj Ventures and Chicago-based u.ventures, with participation from Dnipro VC and Sturgeon Capital.[15]

According to company reports, PeopleForce experienced 80% year-over-year annual recurring revenue growth in 2024, with expansion in Poland and Latin America accounting for a 2.5x increase in ARR during that period.[16][17]
