The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences is a private autonomous engineering institution located in Ongole, Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 2008 under the Srinivasa Educational Society.
The institution is permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is accredited with an “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has been granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
History
PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences was established in 2008 by Srinivasa Educational Society under the leadership of Dr. Maddisetty Venugopal Rao, Chairman, and Dr. Maddisetty Sridhar, Secretary and Correspondent. The institute was founded with the aim of providing access to quality technical education to students from rural backgrounds and supporting regional educational development. The institution began with a limited number of undergraduate engineering programs and has since expanded to include postgraduate programs, diploma courses, and specialized programs in emerging technologies.
Campus
The campus is located in Ongole, Prakasam district. It features academic blocks, laboratories, libraries, hostels, administrative buildings, and recreational facilities.

In 2025, the institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia. The collaboration focuses on joint research, student and faculty exchange programs, capacity building, and academic cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Merit scholarships
Students of PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences receive merit-based scholarships through the Government of India’s National Scholarship Portal and CSR initiatives of organizations such as ONGC, SBI, HDFC Bank, and LIC. These scholarships provide financial support to deserving students pursuing professional education. For the academic year 2025–26, a total of 106 students received scholarships amounting to ₹1.5 crores
In 2025, the institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).[1]
