“PALA” is a song by Chilean boy band, Q_ARE. Written by Jamin (Q_ARE) and Pedro Cruells Muñoz, and co-produced by Jamin and Sebas (Q_ARE) — “PALA” was released on August 14, 2025.^[1] Musically, it as an urban-pop track blending reggaeton beats, pop melodies and spoken-rap.

“PALA” is an urban-pop song with elements of reggaeton. With 90% lyrics in Spanish, something new to their previous all-English songs, it's a “fresh and dynamic, with a potent rhythmic base” according to LatinosTV.^[2]

The lyrics are a response to online-haters Q_ARE witnessed peaked during their promotions of “LAST MOON”. Member Bin said to podcast Mood Corea, “once they commented, ‘now you all will know what shoveling is’ meaning we didn't know how to do anything.”^[3]

The video begins with a shot of a shovel being dragged against gravel and dirt. The camera tilts up to reveal Aiden in a balaclava. The immediate song introduction initiates the members of Q_ARE to perform a choreographed number. The members are all wearing construction-inspired clothing while performing in and around an abandoned building. Visibly, the members are “dirty” with small dirt smudges on their faces and clothes. At the end of the video, the members appear “tired” and head back to “work” after performing.
