Póntelo en la Lengua (English: ''Put it on the Tongue'') is the second studio album by the Peruvian singer-songwriter, Pedro Suárez-Vértiz, released by Sony Music on September 17, 1996, in Peru, and January 17, 1997, for the rest of the world. The album is one of the most successful Suárez-Vértiz's career.
Critical reception
The album was the best-selling album in Peru during its release year in 1996, with over 40,000 copies sold, being certified triple platinum in Peru.[2][3] The song, ''Los Globos del Cielo'' featured in the album, was ranked 14 in the Billboard magazine for The 25 Timeless Masterpieces of Rock in Spanish in 2020.[4]
