Oleg Leonidovich Chernikov was a Russian chess grandmaster.
Biography
In 2000, he won the World Senior Chess Championship and earned the Grandmaster title for his win.[1][2]
In March 2006, he played for the winning Moscow team in the European Senior Team Chess Championship.[3]
He died on February 6, 2015. A memorial tournament was held in his memory in Nizhny Novgorod in October 2015.[4]
