Oña is a municipality and town located in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2011 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 1,219 inhabitants.

History

In the Middle Ages, Oña had a Jewish community that built a synagogue in 1405. Following the Expulsion of Jews from Spain 1492, the building was transferred to the local monastery.[2]
