"No Survivors" is a song by the Christian contemporary Christian musician Jeremy Camp. The song was first released on May 17, 2024, via Capitol CMG, as a member of Camp's album Deeper Waters,[3] before its release as a single on October 31, 2025, in collaboration with the rock band Skillet.[1] The song was written by Emily Weisband, Camp, Jordan Sapp, and Paul Duncan, while Sapp produced.[4]

Style and lyrics

"No Survivors" is primarily a blues rock song.[2] It has been considered one of the most aggressive and rock‑leaning tracks on Deeper Waters, distinguished from the majority of the album by its stylistic use of electric guitars and high‑energy arrangements, in what K-Love's Lindsay Williams described as "a look we haven't seen from the hitmaker in years".[3] Lyrically, "No Survivors" is centered on themes of Camp surrendering his arrogance and self reliance. Williams describes the song as finding Camp "wrestling with his humanity". The title phrase functions metaphorically, referring not to physical destruction but to the intentional "igniting" of his pride and ego.[3] Camp himself has stated that the song was written as "one of those prayers I ask God daily". The song's aggressive sound builds on its lyrics. Williams notes that the track's explosive arrangement mirrors the intensity of the spiritual battle it describes.[2][5]

Reception

Williams characterizes the recording as "one of the most high‑octane originals found on Camp's latest album", noting that the song "reveals one of the most surprising additions to his catalog in more than a decade". She notes the production style's intensity, observing that Camp "scream‑sing[s] the bridge in one take", a choice that intentionally recalls the rock styles used in much of his early career.[5]

In a similar vein, Chase Tremaine of Jesus Freak Hideout obsered that the track was reminiscent of Camp's music from the early 2000s. He writes that the song's "grungy" guitar styles align it with the heavier material on Stay (2002), while still integrating the modern pop production that has characterized Camp's recent work.[2][5]
