Nikhil Kumar (born January 1, 2003) is an American table tennis player.[2] He competed in the men's singles event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2019, he won the gold medal in the men's team event at the Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru.[3]

Major League Table Tennis

In 2023, Kumar joined Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) as a member of the Portland Paddlers for the league's inaugural season.[4] Playing for the Western Conference, he became a key player for the Paddlers, helping the team reach the 2024 Championship Weekend in Chicago. During the 2023–2024 season, Kumar was recognized as one of the league's top domestic performers, maintaining a high win percentage in both singles and the league's unique "Golden Game" format.

In the 2024–2025 season, Kumar continued as a primary player for the Portland Paddlers, frequently appearing in the league's weekly highlights and earning several "Player of the Week" nominations.[5]
