Nicole Kang is an American actress. She is best known for playing Mary Hamilton in the superhero series Batwoman and Lynn Lieser in the thriller series You.
Early life
She attended a business school in Ohio and also did theatre. One of her teachers told her she focus on an acting career. She stole her parents credit card for an application to New York University where she auditioned. When on holidays in Korea her dad to his surprise received an email of acceptance.[1]
Career
Kang made her on-screen debut in the thriller series You playing the recurring role of Lynn Lieser.[2] She made appearances in the comedy drama series Orange is the New Black and the drama series The Code.[3] Her first role came playing Mary Hamilton and Poison Ivy in the superhero series Batwoman[4][5] She played Bev in Swallow which was her first big film role.[6]
Personal life
Due to the rising threats against Asian Americans Kang along with actress Midori Francis set up the Asian We Stand collective where they speak to teachers across the country showing statistics that hate crimes are rising.[7]
