The aircraft was a 10 year old Cessna Citation Latitude registered as N523QS. The aircraft was manufactured in 2016 and had the serial number, 680A0061. Its certificate was issued in 2025 and had an expiration date in 2032.[4]

Accident

The aircraft took off from San José del Cabo-Los Cabos International Airport at 6:18 PM local time on a flight to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Due to an unknown emergency, the aircraft attempted to land at Laredo International Airport, but turned toward a highway and crashed, killing one of the passengers.
