Nelson Business College

Nelson Business College, founded by English-born Richard Nelson in Cincinnati in 1856, is said to have been the first business college in the United States.[1] It eventually opened branches in Springfield, Ohio and Memphis, and was still operating in Cincinnati in 1930.[1]

Among its alumni were May Company founder David May[2] and Olympic gold medalist James H. Snook.[3]: 4
