Naorem Roshibina Devi
Naorem Roshibina Devi is regarded as one of India’s most accomplished Wushu Sanda athletes ever. She was born on 30 December 2000 in Bishnupur district, Manipur, India. She is a multiple-time national champion with 11 golds and 8 times international medalist who has represented India at the Asian Games, World Wushu Championships, and other major global competitions. Her sustained success at the Asian Games, World Championships, and international invitation tournaments places her among the most consistent Indian performers in the sport. In 2023, she was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India for her contributions to Indian sports.
Early life
Roshibina was born in Kwasiphai Mayai Leikai in Bishnupur District, Manipur.
Career
Naorem Roshibina Devi competes in Wushu Sanda, a full-contact combat sport. She began her career at the sub-junior level and steadily progressed through junior and senior categories, competing across multiple weight divisions before establishing herself in the 60 kg category at the senior international level.
She has represented India in International championships, Asian Games, World Championships, and international invitation tournaments, earning medals consistently over more than a decade.
She has been a dominant figure in Indian Wushu, winning multiple gold medals at Senior National Wushu Championships and National Games, and has consistently represented India in international competitions.
She is currently serving as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sports) under the Manipur Police Department.

She was conferred the Arjuna Award for 2023.[1][2]
