Nafri Football Club, commonly known as Nafri, is an Indonesian football club based in Jayapura City, Papua Province. They compete in the Liga 4 Papua zone.

History

Nafri Football Club was initially founded as a football school called SSB Nafri on 12 May 2012. The initial establishment came from the thoughts of the Indonesian national football legend and also Persipura Jayapura, Chris Yarangga, and his wife Elisabeth Tjoe. They invited another former Papuan footballer, Abdul Manaf, and his wife, Wilce Merahabia, to work together to build and train football in Nafri village.[1]

After receiving the blessing of the ondoafi (tribal leader) of Nafri village, traditional leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, and the head of Nafri village, Then the Nafri Football Field was used as a training ground for SSB Nafri. The Nafri Football Field was built on land donated by various clans in Nafri village who have customary rights. Previously, the plot of land was a community garden which was used as a livelihood for local residents.[1]

In 2018, in the Liga 3 provincial phase event, they played in the 2018 Liga 3 Papua, and successfully advanced to the continuation of the Papua Island regional phase, before finally being defeated by Persitoli Tolikara with a score of 1–2.[3] Then in the 2025–26 Liga 4 Papua, they declared their participation and will compete at the Barnabas Youwe Stadium, Jayapura Regency.[2]
