The NSW Music Prize is a prize awarded by Sound NSW a part of the Government of New South Wales, which said it aims to "celebrate, support and incentivise" the NSW's most talented artists, with "the aim of inspiring the next generations of stars". It commenced in 2025 with a $160,000 prize pool split across three categories.[1]

2025 prizes

The eligibility period for 2025 NSW Music Prize is released between 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. The nominations were revealed on 27 October 2025.[1] The winners were announced on 24 November 2025 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.[2]
