Muck is a 2021 free to play survival roguelike video game.[1] It was created by Norwegian solo developer Dani and released on Steam on June 5.[2] The game was developed in Unity.[3]

Gameplay

Muck is set on a procedurally generated island, where the player has to collect resources, obtain food, craft tools and build a base in preparation for the night, when waves of enemies spawn.[4][5] More and stronger enemies and bosses are encountered the longer the player survives. Killing monsters grants coins, which can be used to open loot chests containing powerups.[5][6] Progress is reset upon death.[6] Muck features both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.[7] The gameplay was inspired by roguelike and survival games like Risk of Rain and Minecraft.[8][9]
