Moshe Melnik
Moshe Melnik was an Israeli Air Force fighter ace who was the first person to score a kill with F-15 on June 27, 1979, when he shot down a Syrian Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21[1][2] with a Python 3 after his AIM-7 Sparrow missed. Melnik was an ace in the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, scoring 5.5 kills in the type before converting to the F-15.[3]
