Mir Shahe Alam (born 7 August 1970)[1] is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the incumbent member of Jatiya Sangsad representing the Bogra-2 constituency and the incumbent State Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives since February 2026.[2]
Career
Alam was elected chairman of Atmul Union Parishad as one of the youngest chairmen in the country in 1997 while he was the president of the Upazila Chhatra Dal at the age of just 23. Later, he served as chairman of Shibganj Upazila Parishad in 2009.[3]
