Mekinock is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in eastern Grand Forks County, North Dakota, United States. It lies northwest of the city of Grand Forks, the county seat of Grand Forks County.[1] The population of the community was 2,152 at the 2020 census, and was estimated to be 2,305 in 2023. Mekinock's elevation is 860 feet (260 m).[2] It has a post office with the ZIP code 58258.[3] The post office was established in 1879.[4]
