McKenzie Mitchell (born March 11, 1994) is an American ring announcer, podcaster, and author. She currently works as the ring announcer for Real American Freestyle (RAF).
Mitchell previously served as ring announcer and backstage interviewer for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP).
Early life and education
McKenzie Mitchell was born on March 11, 1994, in Dexter, Missouri.[1] In your youth, she worked at the jewelry store Hubbard's that her family owned and operated.[2]
She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.[3] While in college, she worked as in-stadium emcee for Ole Miss Rebels home games.[3]
Career
Mitchell was hired by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) on June 8, 2016 as their new ring announcer and backstage interviewer.[4]
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) hired Mitchell as a ring announcer and backstage interviewer in September 2019.[5] She was released from her contract on December 1, 2023.[6]
She was hired by Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) as a backstage interviewer on September 24, 2024.[7]
Mitchell re-signed with TNA as their ring announcer on February 18, 2025.[8]
She debuted as ring announcer for Real American Freestyle (RAF) at RAF 09 on May 30, 2026.[9]
Personal life
Mitchell married Vic Joseph in Italy on September 30, 2022.[10] They had announced their engagement on November 5, 2021.[11]
She hosted Threads with McKenzie Mitchell in 2024, a podcast on fashion in professional wrestling.[12]
Her 2026 coffee table book Threads of Triumph: Professional Wrestling’s Most Iconic Looks featured interviews with professional wrestlers and fashion designers, and became a best-seller on Amazon.[1]
