Max Malanaphy, or simply Max, is an American drag performer who competed on season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race.[1][2]

Early life

Max was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.[3] He grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin where his family moved when he was 8. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where fellow season 7 contestant Trixie Mattel also attended and knew him from working on musicals together.[4] In 2013, he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.[5]

Career

Max competed on season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She impersonated Sharon Needles for the Snatch Game challenge,[6][7] and placed ninth overall.[8] Max starred in the web series Agent Max in 2017.[9]
