Mary Thompson is a former international badminton player from Scotland who competed at the Commonwealth Games.
Biography
Thompson played her badminton in Glasgow[1] and specialised in doubles.[2]
She was a Scottish international,[3] representing them in world tournaments including the Uber Cup.[4] In November 1969 she was selected for the Scottish Commonwealth Games trials.[5] Thompson subsequently represented the Scottish team[6] at the 1970 British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland,[7][8] competing in the women's singles event[9] and the women's doubles.[10]
