Martyn James Lewis (born 12 August 1982)[1] is a former international badminton player from Wales who competed at three Commonwealth Games and is a 13-times champion of Wales.

Biography

Although proficient in singles play he was primarily a specialist in doubles.[2]

He represented the Welsh team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England,[3] where he competed in the badminton tournament. He continued to represent Wales after the 2002 Commonwealth Games[4] and later went on to represent Wales at two more Commonwealth Games in 2006 and 2010.

In the national event, he plays for the Caerphilly,[5] and has won 13 Welsh National Badminton Championships from 2003 to 2021.[6]
