Mahvelat-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان مه ولات جنوبي)[a] is in the Central District of Mahvelat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[5] Its capital is the village of Mehneh.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 7,794 in 2,041 households.[6] There were 7,890 inhabitants in 2,279 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,192 in 2,518 households. The most populous of its 68 villages was Mehneh, with 3,560 people.[4]
