Lydia Pérez Touriño (born 17 October 1997) is a Spanish freestyle wrestler. She won the bronze medal in the women's 62 kg event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran.[1][2]

Career

Pérez was born in Pontevedra, Spain.[3] She has competed internationally for Spain in several freestyle wrestling weight classes, including 58 kg, 60 kg and 62 kg.[1][2]

In 2018, she competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, where she finished fourth in the women's 62 kg event.[2] Four years later, she won the bronze medal in the same category at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran.[1][4]

At world and continental level, Pérez finished 16th at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships, 13th at the 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup, and 11th at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships.[1][2]

In Spain, she won the women's 63 kg title for the University of Vigo at the 2018 Spanish University Championships, according to the annual activity report of Spain's Higher Sports Council.[3]
