Love Upon a Time (Thai: ภพเธอ; RTGS: Phop Thoe) is a Thai boys' love television series produced by Domundi and Mandee Work. It is scheduled to air on Workpoint TV and iQIYI.[1]
Synopsis
Nakhun, a twenty-year-old student skeptical of superstitions, is unexpectedly transported back nearly four centuries to the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Mistaken for a missing young man named Klao, he assumes Klao's identity to uncover the mystery of his disappearance while searching for a way home. Meanwhile, Klao's friend Phop doubts Nakhun's true identity and keeps a close watch on him, unconvinced that he is the younger brother he once knew.

Production
The production of Love Upon a Time was announced on December 13, 2022 as part of Domundi's 2023 line-up, starring Siraphop Manithikhun and Supamongkon Wongwisut.[2][3] In March 2024, Wongwisut exited the project to focus on his career as a singer,[4] being replaced by JJ Radchapon Phornpinit in May.[5]
A propitious ceremony to bless the production was held on June 13, 2025 at the Ganesha shrine in Bangkok.[6] Costume fitting was publicly released in June 2025 ahead of filming.[7] To prepare for their roles, the cast had to attend workshops to practice the language used in the past.[6] Principal photography started on June 25, 2025[8] and ended on February 27, 2026.[9] In November 2025, filming was delayed due to heavy rains and floods in Thailand which damaged the main set, pushing the premiere from late 2025 to the late first quarter of 2026.[1][10]
The pilot episode was released on February 20, 2025, while the official trailer was released on March 6, 2026.[11]
