List of storms named Aring
The name Aring has been used for four tropical cyclones in the Western North Pacific Ocean. All were named the primary weather agency of the Philippines, PAGASA and its predecessor, the Philippine Weather Bureau.
- Typhoon Sally (1964) (T6418, 27W, Aring) – an intense typhoon that struck the Philippines and China, and eventually severely affected South Korea as a remnant low, causing at least 221 deaths.
- Severe Tropical Storm Nora (1976) (T7625, 25W, Aring) – a relatively strong tropical storm which hit the eastern parts of central Philippines.
- Typhoon Betty (1980) (T8021, 25W, Aring) – a powerful typhoon that made landfall on Luzon and caused 101 fatalities.
- Typhoon Doyle (1984) (T8427, 30W, Aring) – a strong late-season typhoon which stayed at sea and did not affect any land areas.
