The following is a list of kidnappings that occurred between 1960 and 1969, summarizing the events of each case, including instances of celebrity abductions, claimed hoaxes, suspected kidnappings, extradition abductions, and mass kidnappings.

  1. ^ After two trials, Crimmins was convicted of the manslaughter of Missy and the murder of Eddie Jr. Her conviction was overturned on appeal two years later and she was convicted of Missy's manslaughter, but not Eddie's murder, which was believed to have happened at a different time and place.
  2. ^ Police and prosecutors claimed that Parker and Price were responsible based on a confession from Parker which implicated the two men; however, both died before they could stand trial for the crime, leaving the case unresolved
