List of Phi Theta Kappa chapters

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for students seeking associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, or other college credentials. Most of its chapters are at community, junior, and other two-year colleges.[1] In the following list of chapters, active chapters are indicated in bold and inactive chapters and institutions are in italics.[2][3][4]

  3. ^ Chapter formed from Kappa Phi Omicron, established in 1912. Its Phi Theta Kappa charter was withdrawn when the college became a four-year institution.
  4. ^ Chapter formed from Rochester Public Junior College, now Rochester Community & Technical College.
  5. ^ Chaptaer formed at Flat River Junior College, now called Mineral Area College.
  6. ^ Chapter formed at Northeastern Oklahoma Junior College, which became Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in 1943.
  7. ^ College closed in 1950.
  8. ^ The college's last semester ended in May 2023.
  9. ^ This chapter serves the Rio Grande Campus, the Transmountain Campus, and the Valle Verde Campus.
  10. ^ Chapter formed at Bainbridge State College, which merged into Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 2017.
  11. ^ The campus closed in May 2024.
  12. ^ VTC merged with Northern Vermont University and Castleton University to become Vermont State University in July 2023.
  13. ^ Chapter formed at the Sorrento Campus. However, the college moved to Gonzales, Louisiana in 2014.
  14. ^ Chapter formed at St. Vincent's College which merged with Sacred Heart University in 2017, forming St Vincent's College at Sacred Heart University. The campus was closed in 2024.
  15. ^ The college is located in Utqiagvik, formerly known as Barrow, Alaska.
  16. ^ Chapter formed at the Community College of Sioux Falls, now USD Sioux Falls.
