Kushal Dowari (born 1 July 1966 in Bokata Khamun, Sivasagar) is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Assam.He will be contesting election from either Sibsagar or demow constituency in upcoming 2026 Assam assembly elections. He was elected in the Assam Legislative Assembly election in 2016 from Thowra constituency. He is a former MLA, winning independently in 2006 by defeating congress.

Dowari was a SULFA leader before being elected as an MLA in 2006, he helped various people and improved his constituency conditions after being MLA, that's why people of Thowra still love him.

He is a former president of Samaj Bikash Manch a Social Organisation as well as founding president of Nabadeep Samay Bikash Manch, an NGO established by Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a philanthropist and social worker. Currently, taking care of the problems of general public in Sivasagar district with the advice of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and serving people in his own capacity with no support from any party.[5]
