Kenny Van Nguyen[1] (born 1994 or 1995[2]) is an American politician and member of the Colorado House of Representatives.

Biography

Nguyen was born in Colorado to Vietnamese refugees.[2]

Prior to becoming a state representative, Nguyen worked as an executive assistant to Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera.[2] In 2023, Nguyen was elected to represent Ward 1 of the Broomfield City Council.[1]

On January 12th, 2026, he was appointed to the Colorado House of Representatives to replace Rep. William Lindstedt, who left the Colorado House after he was appointed to the Colorado Senate. He is the first Vietnamese-American member of the Colorado General Assembly.[3]
