Kennedy Stringfellow (born January 17, 2005) is an American sprinter and Long jump athlete. He competes for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Early life
Kennedy Stringfellow graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, Mississippi with honors as the Mississippi High school long jump record holder 7.725 m (25 ft 4 in), and Mississippi State University[1] before attending the University of Oklahoma.[2][3]
Savanté Stringfellow, the 2001 World Championships in Athletics long jump silver medalist and five-time United States champion, is the father of Brandon High School (Mississippi) graduate Kennedy Stringfellow.[4][5]
NCAA career
Kennedy Stringfellow competed in the regional 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and at the regional 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.[6]
Stringfellow jumped 8.29 m (27 ft 2+1⁄4 in)[7] a University of Oklahoma program record in the long jump at the January 2026 Owen Hewett Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma to earn Southeastern Conference and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division I Men honors.[8][9]

Kennedy Stringfellow competed in the Long jump with a 7.46 m (24 ft 5+1⁄2 in) at the 2026 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in New York[11], placing thirteen overall.[12]
