Kayamozhi (Tamil pronunciation: [/kaːjaːmoɻi/]) is a village situated 9 km west of Thiruchendur in Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, India.[1][2] The village was established in the 16th century as the capital of the former Vadapattu region.[3] It is located at an elevation of 15 metres (49 feet) above mean sea level.
