The Karachi Monarchs are a professional baseball club that is a member of Baseball United. Founded in 2023, the team represents Karachi, Pakistan, and plays its games at the Baseball United Ballpark at The Sevens in Dubai.[1] The league has scheduled its first season to start in October 2025.[2]

Roster

The Monarchs selected 20 players during the 2023 Baseball United Draft,[3] some of whom previously played in Major League Baseball. The selection of 50-year-old four-time All-Star and 2005 AL Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colón in the 2nd round received some media attention.[4][5]
