Julie Sabatié (born 24 December 1994) is a French freestyle wrestler. She won silver medals in the women's 50 kg event at the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona and the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran. She also finished ninth at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships and seventh at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships.[1][2]
Career
Sabatié was born in Montauban, France.[3] She won a silver medal at the 2009 Cadet European Championships and later represented France at the 2015 European Games, where she finished fifth in the women's freestyle 48 kg event.[2][3]
At senior level, she finished fourth at the 2013 Mediterranean Games and later won silver medals at the 2018 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 Mediterranean Games, both in the women's 50 kg category.[1][2]
Sabatié competed at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships, where she finished ninth in the women's freestyle 48 kg event. She later also represented France at the 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup, where she finished 11th, and at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships, where she placed seventh in the women's freestyle 50 kg event.[1][4]
French federation reports also list her among the national champions in several seasons, including 2020 and 2024.[5][6]
