John L. Outlaw (born January 8, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Boston/New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.[1][2] He also played in the American Football League (AFL) for the Patriots. Outlaw played college football for the Jackson State Tigers and was selected in the 10th round of the 1968 NFL/AFL draft.[1]
